Unicorns invaded the Workshop!

Yes, you read that right. Hrothgar let a herd of unicorns into the workshop, and their magical drool has made the wands better than ever.
Check out the NEW NEWS! section of the project page for information, but suffice to say that we've found that Unicorn Drool has magical properties, turning normal, everyday wood into colorful masterpieces. Get your wand infused with Unicorn Spit with a rainbow array of hues!
Dragon-Slayer Mini
The Dragon-Slayer Mini is a new pledge level (or add-on) available that is perfect for wizards and witches with small hands.
Made from a single piece of maple, the mini is about 8-10" long and has a narrow diameter handle that is perfect for young hands. You can have it colored with Unicorn Drool....errrr...Spit in your choice of colors (see project page for color choices).
The Dragon-Slayer Mini will ship by Christmas! Just pledge for the mini (or add-on just $28 to your existing pledge) and you will receive the mini in time as a stocking stuffer for your fledgling witch or wizard.
Your pledge of $28 includes shipping as well.
We received a great new tool for the lathe recently which is allowing us to make wands that are thinner and more decorative than ever before. Take a look at these great rainbow wands.
Each wand in this project will have decorative designs in both the handle and the shaft. This new tool will let me get much more creative with the woods and acrylics. Every wand will now be a true work of art.
We have about 2 weeks left in the campaign and I'd love to see a lot of great new pledges. Help spread the word and let everyone know that Unicorns invaded the workshop and you get to reap all the benefits!

Off to the Races
Dragon-Slayer has started strong, raising over $1,000 in less than 24 hours.
If you are new to Hrothgar's Hoard's projects, welcome! If you are one of the many who have backed me in the past, welcome back!
This is the Hoard's 9th KS campaign. I always set the goal low because, frankly, I don't have a lot of big expenses to get a project off the ground. Almost all the materials are domestically available and all the work is done in house. This makes it a lock that any project that we launch is going to be funded and you, our great backers, will get some cool gear.
With this being the first update of the campaign I would like to ask everyone to do a few things:

Share this project with your friends. Facebook, Instagram, BBG, where ever you meet with fellow gamers and cosplayers. It only takes a few seconds and it is the best way to spread the news about a new project.
- Post a comment in the comments section. Let me know what else you'd like to see in the campaign. Got an idea for something that can be included in the handle of the wands? Post it. Got an idea for other options I'm missing in the project? Post it. Confused about something and need an explanation? Post it. Post it. Post it. I'm completely open to expanding the project to make it better for you, the backers.
- Visit the sites of the people who helped out with this project. I sent several wands out for review and links to those reviews are listed on the top of the project page. I also got some great help from local cosplayers and a local photographer. Go look at their pages...I'm sure they'd love some extra visits.
- Be sure to look at the FAQ. I'll be adding to that as people ask questions in the comments section.
