Surveys sent today

The surveys went out today. If you don't see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder to make sure it didn't go there. It seems like every project I've run, I've had people who didn't turn in their survey, and thus didn't get their reward.

There is no rush, but don't forget about it. And be sure to check out the other items available in the shopping cart.

Funds received and backerkit initiated

Things are proceeding as expected on this end. Kickstarter released the funds today which means I can start buying materials, and I've finished the Backerkit setup which means that I can start sending surveys in the next couple days (I hope).

Once I get the go-ahead on the surveys, I'll send them out. For those who pledged at the "Mini" level and the "Christmas" level, it is very important that you get these back to me as soon as possible so I can get to work on those and get them out before the holidays. Unless you don't mind waiting a little before you get them; that is fine with me as well.

For everyone else, I've set the cutoff date for the surveys as Jan, 2019, so you have a little time to get them in. I've included many items from previous projects in the shopping cart system that you can add on as well. Save yourself some shipping charges and take advantage of this if you are interested in other items.

I'm not going to drag my feet on this...as I get orders in, I'm going to get to work on them and fill them sooner rather than later.

The Dark One update

Diesel continues his work on designing the shaft for The Dark One level. Below are a few more pictures that he sent me. For those that pledge at this level or add this onto your order, shipping may not come as fast as the rest of the pledges, but Diesel's work is very good. It'll be worth the wait and should still come in far before the time listed on the project page.

Hey everyone. Sorry I was absent this weekend; I went to visit my daughter at college and didn't have internet access most of the time.

Today is the last day of the project, so I thought I'd chime in and let you know what is to come.

At the end of the day, you'll get a notice from Kickstarter about the project, they'll charge your account, etc. Please make sure your CC information is current so that this first stage is taken care of quickly.

Over the next 2 weeks, I will be building the BackerKit survey for the project. This will allow you to tell me exactly what you want (handle wood, shaft material) as well as add on other items that will be available from Hrothgar's Hoard like dice cases, trays, dice towers, etc. This should be ready to go as soon as Kickstarter is done with their end of the project. As soon as KS gives me the thumb's up, I'll send out the Backerkit survey.

I'll make a purchase of acrylic and wood materials based on how people respond to the surveys.

I'll begin work on orders, starting with the backers who pledge at the Christmas special pledge and then moving on to others. If you pledge at the Christmas special level, be sure to send me a message (here in KS is fine, but make sure it is a message, not a post in the comments section) letting me know your handle/shaft preferences so I can get to work on that.

Those pledging for Diesel's Cthulhu inspired shaft will be completed on Diesel's schedule. He is still perfecting the shaft and I"ll get those backers updates as Diesel puts the final touches on the shaft.

Since the project didn't get overwhelmed, shipping of the items should commence fairly soon. I doubt if I can get them out before Christmas (unless you pledged for that), but should get them out in the early part of next year.

We are less than a week from the end of the project. We still have a chance of getting a lot more people on board, so I'm asking everyone to share this project on your social media pages. It'll only take a few seconds and we could easily grow the project a lot!

Diesel update on Ancient One

Diesel has been hard at work turning his concept art into reality and he sent me photos of the first section of wand he has completed.The following pictures are of the same length of wand from different sides. There will be other sections of the wand and he'll get me pictures as he completes those sections, but this is a very promising start!
